Ready to step into the story?

We’re building a world—a series of intimate, emotionally charged, sensory experiences that ask more from the audience… and from you.

No proscenium.
No spotlight.
No fourth wall.

Are you an actor (brave soul) ready to guide others through tales, truths and choices…

…who can hold space, shift energy, and make small moments unforgettable?

Currently Micro Immersive are not holding any in-person casting dates — however, we’re always on the look out for actors who wish to take part in immersive experiences — on this page you can submit a video audition.

We’re building a pool of curious, committed performers — individuals who want to challenge themselves, take creative risks, and play inside the world of immersive storytelling.

This isn’t just about one production.
It’s about shaping a community.
A space where actors feel proud to belong.

Apply

So glad you’re interested in joining our talent pool.

A quick heads-up before you begin:
The form takes about 5 minutes, however as we do not have any in-person dates available right now, we will ask for you to prepare a 5 minute video audition — the form will guide you through everything.

Just so expectations are clear—we do not offer salaried roles.
We’re in an early growth stage, building something meaningful from the ground up.
We grow together, and we share what we can as we go.

If you have any questions, just email us: production@microimmersive.com.

Ready?
Let’s begin.

Casting Application
In-person auditions will take place at Bululú, near Palos de la Frontera. We would recommend you come down if you can, however if you can't attend for any reason on these dates, please select 'Video Audition'. A new option will appear on the form to upload a video.

Video Audition Instructions

Please upload a video of no more than 5 minutes (max 10mb). It can be recorded using a mobile phone, but please ensure there is sufficient light and that all of your performance can be seen, without being too far away. At the start of the video, please introduce yourself by including your name and age.

Your video must include:

An 'Off-Book' Performance (~2 Minutes)

Choose a part of any scene from a theatrical production, film or tv series where you either know, or can learn the lines. You may choose any genre, but be sure that your character is dynamic (can demonstrate various emotions).

This scene may be performed as a monologue or with someone else (who has a script if required).

Interrogation Scene (~3 Minutes)

To prepare before you record your video audition:
Think of what the interrogation will be about — is it a murder case? a bank robbery?

Now, get several small pieces of paper and write the following, one on each piece of paper:
- Detective
- Suspect
- Guilty
- Not Guilty

Place the Detective and Suspect papers in one pocket, and Guilty and Not Guilty in another.

Also, make sure you have a chair available.

During your audition video, straight after your off-book performance, pull out either the Detective or Suspect paper from your pocket (without looking). You must start acting and talking as that character. If you're the suspect, take a seat.

After approx. 1 minute, pull out either the Guilty or Not Guilty (again, without looking) from the other pocket. You must now come to a conclusion. For example, if you're a guilty suspect, you could eventually confess OR if you're the detective and the suspect is innocent, you could come across some evidence that clears the victim.

This is to be performed as a monologue, so nobody is required to act the other role — you need to 'act' as if they are in the room and have said something you can react to. Don't be afraid to play with silences, although if there's too many we won't see enough of your talent!

If you have any questions regarding this, please send us an email to production@microimmersive.com.

Tell us a little about who you are and what intrigues you about immersive theatre.
Tell us a some of your most recent theatrical work and what types of projects you've loved being a part of.
Tell us what you're general availability is like, for example, "I can never make Tuesdays from 19:00 - 21:00. Be specific. Also, be prepared to allocate various days and times, not only rehearse, but to perform some truly exciting productions.
Honestly, we all need holidays — but, we also need people who aren’t going to disappear from Madrid all summer — will you?
We’d love to start paying you from day one, but we need to start growing first — so if you can be in it for the passion, let’s work together with the aim to reward that talent of yours — it might happen sooner than you think.
In the main, you'll be auditioning with others as a group — however, we will invite everyone to perform their own prepared reading. This must be something no longer than 3-4 minutes, and off-script. You may bring a script for one of the casting directors to read another part if you prefer.
