Where this started
Micro Immersive began with a simple observation: Madrid is a city of extraordinary spaces, extraordinary people, and extraordinary stories, but English-speaking audiences had almost nowhere to go for live theatre that felt genuinely different.
We started making intimate story-driven encounters in bars, cellars, and private spaces across the city. Not big productions. Not tourist theatre. Something quieter, more intentional, and more personal than that.
The shows have grown. The audiences have grown. The ambition has grown. We now produce work at every scale; from eight people in a cellar to two hundred at a corporate event. But the core belief hasn’t changed: that live experience, done with care and intelligence, changes how people see the world and each other.
What we believe
Experience is the medium
We don't perform for audiences. We create conditions in which something real can happen. The best moments in our shows are the ones we didn't write.
Intimacy is a choice, not a limitation
Whether we are performing for eight people in a cellar or two hundred in a hotel ballroom, the same principle applies: every person in the room should feel the story is happening to them specifically. Scale changes how we build the work. It does not change what we are trying to do.
Language should never be a barrier
Madrid has hundreds of thousands of English speakers who are underserved by live culture. We exist specifically to serve them with the same quality and ambition you'd expect anywhere.

Jason is the founder and creative director of Micro Immersive, shaping the vision, stories, and overall experience of each production. With experience running and developing experience-led companies, his work sits at the intersection of storytelling, branding, and live performance. He is drawn to intimate formats that invite audiences into the heart of a story, guiding them with care, structure, and a clear creative hand.
Alicia Lara
Producer / Community Manager
Alicia works behind the scenes to hold the structure of Micro Immersive’s productions, supporting both the creative process and the people within it. With a background in theatre and independent projects, she brings calm organisation and attention to detail to every stage of a show. She cares deeply about the shared experience between audience and performers, ensuring each production runs smoothly and feels grounded from start to finish.
