The Story

Teaching empathy through sound

Más Light works to build empathy on a global scale, and came to us to bring that mission into their team-building workshops. After a trial in February 2022, we were commissioned to create a ten-part audio programme using 3D sound, along with a standalone piece exploring fear. No stage, no set. Just sound, close enough to feel like it is happening to you.

THe Journey

After a successful trial run, Más Light asked us to build something bigger: ten episodes using 3D audio techniques, designed to shift how participants understood other people’s experiences. We added a further episode built entirely around fear, pushing the format even further.

The Result

Arnaud Plaire, founder of Más Light, called the programme a genuine success in raising empathy across teams. It remains one of our favourite reminders that you do not need a set to move people. You just need sound, and the right story. Micro Immersive was then commissioned to develop a series of a 10-part audio programme using 3D sound techniques, plus an additional one-off audio with the topic of fear.
