The Story

In the midst of a stormy night

A group of strangers, each carrying their own hidden burdens and personal battles, find themselves trapped in a desolate motel. As the night unfolds, a series of violent and disturbing incidents lead to suspicion and fear. Get ready for a suspenseful exploration of the human psyche, filled with tension, mystery, and unexpected twists that will have you gripping the edge of your ‘motel’ seat.

About The Production

The Mission

To build a stage that felt like a motel with nowhere to hide. Seventy guests at a time, all watching the same walls close in, all guessing at the same secrets.

THe Journey

Inspired by the cinematic Identity (2023) film, The Last One began with two stories we could not shake: the psychological unravelling of Identity and the claustrophobic dread of And Then There Were None. We wanted our own version of that feeling: a room full of strangers, a story that keeps changing who you should trust.

The Result

We staged three shows. All three sold out. Audiences left talking about the twists for days, which is exactly what we were hoping for.

Estuvo genial. Los actores llevaron muy bien la historia de suspense. El decorado bien. La vestimenta bien. Lo único que a veces costaba oír las voces porque hablaban demasiado bajo. Pero en general, fenomenal. Recomiendo ir a ver obras de ellos.

A WILD ride! Incredible!

The show kept you captivated, and guessing, from beginning to end. The acting/directing was top-notch. Undoubtedly, it was one of the best performances I’ve seen in Madrid. Great set, sound, lighting, and CREW. Scene changes and transitions were seamless, which could NOT have been easy in the dark!

Some good acting unfortunately drowned by too-loud sound effects and poor voice projection by the artists. English pronunciation poor and incomprehensible in some cases.

The Last One

Yesterday night I went to one of the best plays I have ever seen! The Last One is a mysterious thriller filled with tensions, twists and turns and brilliantly placed bits of humour. The sublime cast and special effects help create a hair-raising atmosphere from the moment one dares visit the hotel.
